Scout Camp

We had a lot of fun at scout camp! I made a 60 second slide show showing all the fun we had! At camp Steiner there was a relay race called The Mountain Man Relay. You had to run from the start down to the archery range shoot five arrows and have them hit the target or else you had to do jumping jacks. Then you run to a knot tying station and tie a knot, then run to the rifle range and shoot five shots and one needs to hit the target. Then you dash to the amplitheater to the canoes and row over to the docks then run over the the finish line. Our troop ran and got the time of 13:57, and when they announced the times second place had 14:32. So our troop started to cheer... until they announced the name of troop 109, with a time of 14:15. We were a little sad but didn't let it get us down. Then there was the battle of lake Steiner. Caeden Lowrance, Forest Raby, and Davidson Terry all participated in it. We got second out of about 18. They gave no recognition for that either. At the rifle range there was something called the dime club where you had to shoot five shots in a row so close to each other that you could place a dime over it and not see them. Bridger got into the dime club. At the closing ceremony they announced that 13 people had gotten in, and they randomly selected one and gave him a prize. At all scout camps there is an activity known as the polar bear. Where in the morning you get up and jump in the lake. They said that if you do the polar bear all week you will get a prize, and like all of the other things, they didn't mention a word of it. Lastly, we are lucky we all came back. The mosquitoes ate us alive! So in conclusion we had fun at the camp, but most of the troop agrees that Camp Bartlett had been better. See you next time!
